Think Twice Before You Trash project is funded with support from the European Commission and led by Basaksehir Municipality and involves partners from Turkey, Spain, Italy, Poland, Netherland and Belgium.
“THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU TRASH” is an Erasmus+ KA204 Strategic Partnership for adult education in the field of cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices project, financed by Turkish National Agency, under the coordination of Basaksehir Belediye Baskanligi and the partnership of Avrasya Genclik Gelisim Dernegi from Turkey, Comune di Marineo from Italy, ACD LAHOYA from Spain, CODEC from Belgium, MODE Foundation from Poland and NEFINIA from Netherlands. The project has focusing on to get rid of the use of disposable habits, and to encourage seniors and young people to think how can they use waste materials for good benefit.
We aim to increase the quantity of separated waste and recycled waste, to decrease the effects of global warming and climate change, to start a social entrepreneurship movement, to help socio-culturally and economically disadvantaged people to find jobs and be entrepreneurs by the help of training courses teaching how to make decorative items out of waste materials.
This project is a social inclusion project that is open to all segments of the society who are educated, who have dropped out of their education, who are unemployed, refugees, have little or no financial means. In this project, everyone will be able to find a suitable working area for unity. The unemployed people, those who are in poor financial situation and those who dropped out of school early will be encouraged to start a business and become entrepreneurs. Experts in partner countries will share their good experiences with people who want to start a business and become entrepreneur
